Tasneem Dossa
Tasneem is originally from Nairobi, Kenya but grew up in Canada, which she considers home. Her career has always been linked to real estate. She worked for companies that were focused on the real estate sector, including a land developer and a property management company, while working on her real estate license.

Tasneem became a Realtor in 1990, following in the footsteps of her mother, who was one of the top realtors in Calgary at that time. She took a few breaks to raise her children and then got back into real estate full-time. “It’s in my blood and something I enjoy” she explains. Tasneem has a passion for helping people with their real estate needs and loves seeing her clients’ happiness when they have found their ideal home.

Why did you become a realtor?
I became a Realtor in 1990 following the footsteps of my mother Sherin Dossa who was one of the top realtors in Calgary at that time. I ended up taking a break a few times to raise my children then got back into it full time. It’s in my blood and it’s something I enjoy. I have passion in helping people with their real estate needs being it’s one of the most important purchases or sales they make in their lives.
Where do you like to travel?
I like to travel to tropical places where there is a beach and sunshine. I love palm trees and the ocean and the sense of calm and solace it brings you.
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
I was born in Kenya, East Africa.
What is your favourite part of selling real estate?
One of my most favorite parts of selling real estate is seeing the smiles and happiness of my clients when they have found their ideal home whether they upgrade, downgrade or just need to sell for other reasons.
What are your favourite books, movies, shows, bands?
The Go Giver, The Alchemist, Think Like a Monk are just a few of my favourite books. August Rush, The Titanic, Elvis are some of my favourite movies that I would watch again. I enjoy movies that are true stories. Manifest, For Life, Criminal Minds are shows I have enjoyed.
