Renee Brennan

Hi, I’m Renee Brennan — a Calgary-based Realtor, mom of three, outdoor adventurer, and board game enthusiast who’s probably cleaning up glitter as we speak.
To me, real estate is about people, stories, and life transitions. I believe every move should be rooted in clarity, confidence, and purpose. Whether you’re buying your first home, upsizing for a growing family, or exploring what’s possible with the equity in your current home, I’m here to help you move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Before becoming a residential Realtor, I spent years in commercial leasing and property management. That background taught me how to navigate complexity, advocate with care, and stay grounded when things get complicated.
When I’m not showing homes or reviewing contracts, you’ll find me out on the trails with my Belgian shepherd, Daisy, making mountains of artwork with my kids, or snacking my way through a family Monopoly game.
If you’re dreaming big or simply curious about your next step, I’d love to hear your story — and help you build something that moves you forward.

Why did you become a realtor?

I became a Realtor because I genuinely care about the moments that shape people’s lives — and moving is a big one. Whether it’s a growing family, a fresh start, or a long-held dream coming true, real estate isn’t just about property. It’s about people, transition, and potential.

With a background in commercial real estate and a passion for helping others navigate change with confidence, I realized I wanted to work more personally — one-on-one with individuals and families. I love being a steady presence in what can feel like an uncertain process, and helping my clients turn “what if” into “what’s next.”

Real estate offers a chance to open new doors — literally and figuratively. That’s why I do this work.

What is your favourite part of selling real estate?

My favourite part is watching people step into what’s next — with clarity and confidence. Every client’s story is different, and I love helping them move forward in a way that feels right for them.

There’s something really special about guiding someone through a big decision and seeing it click — when the home feels like the one, or when the plan finally makes sense.

Where do you like to travel?

Some of my favorite travel memories include wandering the streets of Paris and Munich, exploring the charm of Prince Edward Island, and taking in the beauty (and wildlife!) of Costa Rica. I love a good adventure — especially when it includes history, culture, or a great ocean view.

Machu Picchu is high on my bucket list — there’s something about ancient places that pull you in and give you perspective. That said, I’ll never, ever turn down a beach resort with my family. Sun, sand, and slow mornings? Yes, please.

What are your favourite books, movies, shows, bands?

As someone with an English Literature degree, I’ve always had a deep love for reading — especially the classics. Hemingway is a forever favorite, and “The Signature of All Things” by Elizabeth Gilbert completely swept me away. I also have a soft spot for travel memoirs — there’s something about exploring the world through someone else’s eyes that is so inspiring.

When it comes to movies, I love stories that stir emotion. “A Star is Born” gets me every time, and “Free Willy” will always have a place in my heart. Give me a story with depth, heart, and a bit of redemption, and I’m all in.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?

LoI spent nearly a decade living in Vancouver before returning to Calgary. I dream of writing children’s books someday, and I’m always working on improving my drawing skills — especially since our household produces a lot of artwork.

I also really love yoga. It’s one of the few places where my brain slows down and finds a little quiet.

What is your favourite quote?

“The doors will be opened to those who are bold enough to knock.” - Tony Gaskins
