Joanna Wood
After purchasing her first investment property in 2013 Joanna caught the real estate bug! She left the Calgary corporate world and approached her Realtor Darren Langille to join the growing and exciting company Redline Real Estate Group. Starting as a Property Manager and learning the ins and outs of the management world Joanna saw great success. She moved into a business development role where she assisted building the property management portfolio of Greenleaf Property Management, a division of Redline Real Estate Group. She then naturally progressed into a Realtor where she could assist clients further with building their investment portfolios. Joanna loves real estate and working with her clients either buying or selling properties.
Why did you become a realtor?
Why did you become a realtor?: My experience with redline on the client side really initiated my jump into real estate. As a real estate investor myself I became obsessed with real estate and the business. I wanted to be a Realtor to assist my Property Management clients to be able to sell and buy property. I love my clients, and the industry!
Where do you like to travel?
Where do you like to travel?: I have loved Europe, the people and history, the wine isn’t bad either!
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?: I always dreamed of moving to Calgary from Ontario to become a pro female snowboarder. I was also a cartoon animator and I also own my own cleaning company.

What is your favourite part of selling real estate?: I love the hunt, negotiations, and handing those keys over!! Nothing is more gratifying then someone receiving their first chance at a new opportunity in the Calgary real estate space.
