Kathryn Ceko
Born in the Philippines, I grew up in Edmonton for most of my youth and in 2015 made the move to Calgary and have loved it here ever since. The views of the Rocky Mountains whenever I drive on Stony Trail still take my breath away. I have a background in Biological Sciences and hope to go back and help with ocean/coral conservation later down the road. I have a passion for backpacking and van life, having visited over 40 countries in the world with still so many more places to explore. I’ve found that these modes of travel are the best way to interact with locals and learn more deeply about their cultures, way of living and the most authentic food you can handle! I enjoy meeting a diverse array of people and real estate has been an amazing career so far for that. Before real estate, I ran my own business for eight years and am not afraid of working hard as I got to experience first hand the success of my business and skill sets grow. From there, I got licensed in 2021 as a real estate agent and have helped many families and individuals with their first, second or even third homes. Watching my client’s excitement in the next steps of their lives is what drives me to become a better asset. My biggest take away from my business experience is that communication is key and nothing beats hard work. This ensures that all my clients are taken care of, whether it be from educating them throughout the whole buying and selling process to keeping in constant communication about their ever changing needs. I am focused on helping every person that I have the pleasure of working with to help make such a daunting process as enjoyable and memorable as possible as they move onto the next step in life.

Why did you become a realtor?
Why did you become a realtor?: I ran my own painting business when I started university and did that for eight years. I worked hard and that paid for my school, travel and buying my first house. The thrill of buying my first house was such a neat experience! I want to utilize the skills I’ve built up, that transfer very well into Real Estate, to help people feel the same thrill I had and to enjoy the experience of having their hard earned money work for them.
Where do you like to travel?

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
