Lynne Redmond
People find it hard to believe that Lynne hasn’t been a Realtor all her life since it seems like such a perfect fit for her! She has been working in the real estate industry as an inside sales agent for the past two years and has extensive experience in customer service/sales from her 13 years managing a large home renovation and design business in Calgary. In addition to real estate, Lynne is an active member of the horse community and has been a lifelong Saddlebred enthusiast, as well as a coach and trainer for over 20 years.

Lynne Redmond was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Lynne Redmond was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We were out of the country at the time of the search for our property and the purchasing of the property as well as being out of province customers. Lynne walked us through the process and was extremely patient. We would absolutely work with Lynne again

Why did you become a realtor?
Why did you become a realtor?: I thought it would fit my skill set and mind set well. I am used to working hard w/ unorthodox hours and liked the idea of being my own boss (work effort = my results) but I didn’t want to start up a new business or be an entrepreneur again at this stage of life.
Where do you like to travel?
Where do you like to travel?: I travel a lot locally and to the states for horse shows. I go annually to NYC (I have former business partner/ friend there), Arizona for golf, the mountains for fly fishing or anywhere warm. Horse competitions have taken me to South African twice – everyone should try to go on a safari in their lifetime!
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?: I have 3 grown sons (31, 29, 28), who I am very proud of. I am also a riding coach and horse trainer (although very part time now) and involved on several provincial and national boards still with the horses. My sister and I are the coach/ manager for our Canadian Saddle Seat Team for World Cup, and have been for the past several years. The next two years should be taking us back to South Africa again for that, this summer we competed in Lexington, Kentucky where we won the bronze medal.
What is your favourite part of selling real estate?
What is your favourite part of selling real estate?: The people! And the learning curve, that every day is a bit different and that it isn’t 9-5 (also a negative at times of course too!)
What are your favourite books, movies, shows, bands?
What are your favourite books, movies, shows, bands?: It’s usually the last book/ movie/ show I read/ watched. Most recently I read The Alchemist and enjoyed it, before that it was the Glass Castle (although I haven’t seen the movie yet). I like Friends (seen them all!), Suits and The Ozarks currently. I like Top 40 music, the 80’s and some country.
